Earlier and more uniform harvest. Reduce, eliminate compaction, improve Oxygen into the microbial living ecosystem. Eliminate non beneficial pests, soil borne disease, because of the chitinase enzyme in crustaceans. Increase root size from feeding plant growth hormones, cytokonins, auxins.
